Rope Access Window Cleaning

About

Rope access specialists for London and the South East

Rope Access Window Cleaning cleans, tests, inspects and maintains the parts of buildings that are hard to reach. We work on ropes, so you don't need scaffolding, cradles or ground-level machinery.

What we do

We provide commercial and residential window cleaning by rope access, testing and inspection of anchors and safety systems, facade inspections, and maintenance and repairs at height for buildings across London, Surrey, Kent and Sussex.

How we work

Safety is planned, not assumed

Work at height is planned before anyone arrives on site. Each job has a written risk assessment and method statement, a rescue plan, and checks that the anchors we rely on have a current inspection record. We stop work if conditions such as high wind make it unsafe.

Clear quotes and scope

Our quotes say which elevations, which surfaces and how many visits are included, and what isn't. That makes it easy for managing agents and boards to compare and approve.

Honest about the method

Rope access isn't the answer for every building. If water-fed poles, a cherry picker or scaffolding would be safer or better value, we'll say so.

Eyes on the building

Because our technicians see every drop up close, we report defects we notice while working, such as failed seals, damaged frames or loose fixings, so small problems can be dealt with early.

Standards

Documents you can expect from us

What to ask any rope access contractor

Whoever you appoint, these documents should be available before anyone goes over the edge of your roof. Ask us for ours with your quote.

  • Rope access technician certificates (for example IRATA or SPRAT) for the people on your job, in date
  • A site-specific risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) before work starts
  • A rescue plan, and a named supervisor on site
  • Evidence that the anchors being used have a current inspection record
  • Public and employers' liability insurance certificates
  • Clear scope: which elevations, which glass and frames, and what is excluded
